Excellent place for a dog walk, run, family picnic, yoga, you name it. If you're in the area and don't visit, you're missing out on this beautiful historic park.

This urban park is the best laid-out and probably the most popular park in Louisville. There is something for everyone... walking, hiking, off road biking, dog area... surrounded by wonderful neighborhoods chock full of great architecture.... I have lived near this FL Olmstead designed park...More

New Orleans Native here, but everytime I visit Louisville I have to get a glimpse of the scenery at Cherokee. I absolutely love this park. Its huge, and laid out pretty funny, but once you find a few trails it's really easy to get around....More

we randomly stopped by and walked some of the trails and played at the top near the huge structure that I believe is designed to accommodate bonfires or something?! there is a golf course and plenty of walking/hiking/biking trails, really cool, centrally located, nice kids...More

Great scenic park, the grounds around are very nice to look at.When me and my boyfriend were here in summer he almost stood on a snake so just be careful (don't think it was venomous) The park can be quite busy but definitely a lovely...More

This was a recommended stop, and we were glad we took some time to drive through it. The grounds are beautiful. We a So enjoyed looking at some of the beautiful old homes near it

This is a 410 acre park with a 2.4 mile driving loop (you share it with bikers and walkers so watch out for them). One lane is for cars and the other lane is for the recreational users. To follow the loop keep turning left....More

It used to be so cool hanging out at the park in the 70's...that is all gone now. Too bad as we used to be bumper to bumper cruising on hot summer days. People throwing Frisbee, people hangin out at thier cars....and packed. All of...More

We went there for a walk. Spent there about 2 hours. Beutifull and peasfull place. If you plan to visit the place come tere before noon to have enough time to enjoy.

No fee to get in, and I am with you on the age and all, but we ride/walk and I suggest the fall to do the walk/ride. It is hilly but I suggest to drive it and pick your area, some hills are worse than others.
