It wasn't on our list of attractions to visit but we went at the last minute. The grounds are beautifully kept and the main entry is impressive. It was nice to be able to pick up a map from one of the little information boxes...More

The grave site for Muhammed Ali is so moving. What a wonderful man; his death was a loss to us all. The cemetery is beautiful and full of old as well as new graves. We also stopped to see Colonel Sanders!

Who would think going to a cemetery could be so interesting. You can definitely get lost as you go through looking around. Beautiful headstones and so much history.

Take the two hour walking tour & learn TONS about Louisville history, or just drive or stroll through the 300 acre cemetery visiting graves as old as 1833. Amazing either way.

I thought it was weird for a cemetery to be something to tour, but I've never seen anything like it in my life. The monuments that are within the cemetery are a site to behold. You can easily get lost inside the property. Make sure...More

To let this beautiful cemetery be in such disrepair. It seems like scout groups, churches, Rotarians, Kiwanis etc couldn't help with cleaning the grave markers. Too much moss on tons of graves eating away the stones. Historical and not taking care of it.

3833.9 miles from the canal to the cemetery. You can easily walk it if you have enough time.

It is definitely worth visiting...the most beautiful cemetery I've ever seen. My nephew is laid to rest there.
