Lovely area of town full of nicely restored Victorian homes. Gardens are lovely to view from the sidewalks. A nice area for strolling.

Located just a few blocks south of downtown Louisville, this is an amazing collection of at least 100 Victorian style homes. Some have been converted into B&Bs, apartments or offices, but many are still well-kept single family homes. There are several tours available.

This area has a lot of old architecture worth seeing. It is not a big area so it doesn’t take long to get through. I do advise going during the day as I don’t trust alouisville at night.

We walked down looking at these beautiful homes. Weather was perfect for it and the homes are really interesting.

Impressive and romantic walk around St. James Court and Belgravia Court. These are majestic homes of yesteryear's era. Architectural details, scale and landscape all make this 1 hour walk worth the free parking (if available). We were fortunate to see High Tea with women in...More

I would say this is Louisville's most historic neighborhood and for those of us who enjoy architecture I would definitely recommend at least taking a drive or better yet a walk or bicycle ride here to appreciate the many beautiful homes. Many of these houses...More

The walking tour of Old Louisville is a great mix of today and yesterday. Aptly described as the largest concentration of Victorian homes in the country, the tour showed us so much more than we imagined. The houses are lovely, of course, but the neighborhoods...More

It's not Savannah or Charleston but there are a lot of huge, old homes. Avoid walking past the frat houses on the weekend.
