We were greeted upon entering the store by the gentleman working the front counter. He gave us a little background on the dish ware and that most of the products they carry are from the good ole U.S. Of A. There were fresh foods to sample (the derby pie is amazing) and a neat area in the back to see... More

Lots of crafts and art for sale. It was fun to see all the talent that people have. There is a wide variety to see from ceramics, food items, lotions, bar items, wall art. The place is large and the displays are nice. Tours are available on the weekdays.

We booked a paint your own pottery session with 12 people. They had a very limited selection of pieces for us to choose from, some pieces there were only 1 of and multiple people were painting other than us. They ran out of both black and white paint. Some of us had pieces that broke just from touching them. They... More

Very nice store and beautiful pottery. I certainly would not make a special trip to visit but it was nice to visit while we were there.

The tour was fascinating! Every employee took time to answer our questions and show us their station. They have 2nds for sale and also a lovely gift shop. All Stoneware is food-safe glaze, pieces are dishwasher oven microwave safe 😃 If you're into how things are made, this place is for you!

Did you know that Louisville Stoneware has been in business for over 200 years? Non-stop? :) Wow! We met Patricia today and I have to say, she was one of the best all-around people and tour guides we have ever met. Along the tour, she introduced us to many artisans, all of who we got to meet. They stopped and... More

I had read on Tripadvisor about the tour of this facility and I'm really glad that I took it. My tour guide was Cathy and it was obvious that she has a love of this place and the crafts created here. Cathy was very knowledgeable about the construction of stoneware and the local history as well. There are items for... More

Didn't have what I was looking for! Got grandson a bowl when he was younger with his name on it . Wanted to get a bigger one now he's older , but wasn't available in a bigger size! Decided to get a plate with his name . Was over priced for the size. That will be all I buy from... More

Very interesting factory tour, wonderful gift shop and very nice small museum. We painted a piece of green wear to be shipped to us later. Would have liked a little more guidance with the painting process. Staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable.

I bought a groupon deal, went on a tour and painted stoneware. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The selection to paint stoneware is limited but you can upgrade at an extra cost to paint something else.
