We came down from Maryland to do some additional research on our Patriots. Unfortunately, their resources and information is very limited. Only stayed for an hour. We actually can find way more information through the DAR library in Washington, DC.

If I lived in Louisville, I'd be at this library constantly since I'm a history buff and also into family genealogy. It's a relatively small library, but I really liked the contents. And staff were as helpful as they could be. As it was, I spent hours perusing the shelves on both levels. I think it's well worth a visit... More

I have used this library in the old location but it has only gotten better with the move to main street. Books, microfilm, micro-fish, manuscripts, the new museum next door will add to museum row!

Open staks which is great. Wonderful staff! I have done all my family research at this library. The SAR welcomes all to use their wonderful library. They have the complete Mayflower Books series. Good records for DAR. They can really help and guide you through your family research.
