I would suggest taking the carriage ride and they tell the history behind a lot of the pictures of the murals on the wall. In September we went and it was only $10 for a 20 minute ride.

Having a mural artist paint scenes from Paducah's history on the panels of the flood walls was genius. Adding the descriptions of the murals on bronze plaques in front of each scenes takes it up another notch. We had a good time walking, reading and...More

Murals, mostly historic, are lined up along the riverbank a for viewing. This is a nice spot for walking and learning the history of Paducah and the Lewis and Clark expedition.

Each mural tells a part of significant history of Paducah. Art work is colorful and inviting. It is fun to take a picture in front of a mural, looks like you were there at that time.

We walked all the way along and read every story. It was a great way to learn about a town. The paintings were beautifully presented.

These were beautifully done! We wandered down after our visit to the quilt museum. The colors are so vivid, and the paintings themselves are so life-like. Our girls loved them.
