Every time I visit Lexington, I always make a visit to Irish Acres, both for the beautiful antiques gallery and also for lunch at their restaurant The Glitz! If you're in Lexington in November or December, I highly recommend visiting Irish Acres because the Christmas decorations are just beautiful and a visit during this time a year really makes the... This antique mall is worth a visit if for no other reason than it is housed in an old school and the pretty drive to get there. The booths are artfully arranged and bulging with merchandise on 2-1/2 floors. But don’t go thinking you’ll score any bargains. There are no bargains to be had. My husband called it “antiquing for... I love stopping by antique shops in different areas so I took a beautiful drive from Versailles to the Irish Acres Gallery of Antiques. The shop is large and has alot of items. They had alot of ornate furniture/items and glassware. Unfortunately there wasn't much that met my style or interested me. I was hoping to find more country/farm items... More

I can't imagine how I have lived just 30 minutes from this wonderland for 18 years and never been here. I do not collect antiques but even I could spend hours here. Absolutely gorgeous! I doubt there is anywhere on earth like it.

This is a gem, located in the midst of beautiful horse farms. They really deck the halls for the holidays, so November is the perfect time to go. The restaurant inside, downstairs, is called the Glitz. It's fantastic. It's a little pricey for lunch at about $25 a person plus tip. But, it includes your before dinner drink, appetizer, salad,... This is a fascinating place to visit if you like museums. There were an incredible amount of artifacts on display. However, if you want to actually purchase any of the artifacts, you should bring several gold bars.

You could spend the day just browsing in this place. They have so many beautiful things to look at and purchase. I loved browsing the gallery.

This is not your run of the mill antique shop/stop. It is a renovated old school house that is filled to the brim with antiques from every place and every time period. You could shop for days in the gallery. The Glitz restaurant/tea room is out of this world. You must experience this! And DO have a taste of their... More

Hidden in the middle of nowhere in "Nonesuch, Kentucky" is this beautiful & awesome place that features antiques for sale. Each room beautifully decorated with awesome antiques. Downstairs is The Glitz, a nice place with a menu offering delicious goodies from the appetizer to the dessert & great ambiance.

Wonderful selection of antiques, interestingly displayed. It's a good place to spend an afternoon if you are an antique collector.
