People Make The Difference
May 2021
People of LSU think that this is the ultimate baseball palace, and although very nice, there are a couple of things that keep the Box, from topping other baseball stadiums like Dudy Noble in Starkville, most notably the unusual number of aluminum bench seating that tends to make it look cheap. Replacing these, especially along both base lines, would do wonder for the appearance, even if you left the ones in the outfield. Also, not enamored with both bullpens placed within the field area.
But, what makes LSU a great place to visit for baseball are the people, especially the working staff at the ballpark. They go out of their way to greet and make the visiting team's fans welcome and feel at home. That's why I come back every two years. Baseball is pretty good, too.

Incredible Baseball Stadium with Lots of History
Nov 2019
I was a little surprised Alex Box Stadium/Skip Bertman Field was the #1 attraction in Baton Rouge until we went here. The stadium is fantastic in purple and yellow. One of the best college baseball stadiums I have ever seen.

The Head Coach Skip Bertman deserves credit. He came to LSU after 8 seasons with the University of Miami as Associate Coach where he won a National Championship.. LSU won 5 National Championships under Skip Bertman (6 in total).

The National Championship Plaza is truly amazing. LSU really knows how to highlight their accomplishments.

LSU has produced a lot of great players like Todd Walker, Ben McDonald, Aaron Nola and Alex Bregman.

I came on a day when the players were practicing. It was neat to go onto the field afterwards.

I just wished the LSU Baseball Hall of Fame was open. I would come back to see it.
One day, I'd love to come watch a game here.

Excellent College Baseball Stadium
May 2019 • Couples
The “Box” is a relatively new baseball stadium which seats a max of approximately 12,000 baseball fans. All seats are reserved with chair back seats in the covered grandstand. Plenty of refreshment stands but the restrooms are spartan. Traffic to and from the stadium is a challenge due to limited roads. Parking is an issue after rainy weather since a majority of it is not paved.

Awesome atmosphere for College Baseball!
Jun 2019 • Family
I was there for the NCAA regional game between Southern Miss and LSU. Being a Southern Miss fan, I was disappointed in the heartbreaking loss but the overall experience and atmosphere for College Baseball is awesome. This is what College Baseball is all about!

The great Tiger Stadium
Apr 2019 • Solo
First if you don't care, for loud noise and having the time of your life, stay away from Tiger Stadium, because the people who come within a quarter of a mile of Tiger stadium will hear sounds that cause vibrations which sometimes show up on the Rictor scale as massive earthquakes. The crowds feast on every kind of food that the brain can imagine.
The opposing teams mostly have fun until the final play, mostly the TIGER WIN
