Arrived right at low tide. The small area of the beach where the hot water can be found was PACKED with people. There were a few groups that had started digging holes earlier and had about 6 inches of warm water they were laying in. It is hit and miss for finding the hot water. 90% of holes being dug... More

Beach is cool and the hot water creeping up through the sand is a wonderful concept as long as your there during low tide which is only twice a day for a couple hours. We saw many people arrive excited and leave with a frown due to the fact they did not arrive during the necessary "window of time". Do... More

Dig your own spa in the sand snd soak up tge natural heated water. Shovels can be hired from a nearby cafe for $5 and you will need one - the water is way too hot to dig by hand. Take care with the hot water - ask the locals and they will be more than happy to pass on... More

We visited in the afternoon and saw the pools being dug, we didn't get in ourselves as we were heading off for dinner but dipped our feet and we're surprised at how hot it was. Lovely beach, lovely art shop across the road and great coffee at the coffee shop. Parking there is expensive!

Went here with a bunch of friends, quite early in the morning. Was very busy, and there wasn't a lot of space left to dig a pool. There was only hot water in a few places, and didn't feel like it was worth getting my togs wet for. Beautiful beach when looking away from the hot pool area towards the... More

Go to Hot Water Beach and dig a pool two hours either side of low tide, will fill with hot water and you have your own spa pool! Great fun with the kids. During the day Beach is busy although still space to dig a pool. If you stay close by nighttime would be much quieter. A beautiful beach but... More

If you can park - unlikely - you will be sharing a tiny area of the beach with a zillion tourists you may not want to be sharing your metre of sand with! Park further down at Surfers Beach. Free parking & a 5 min max walk away down the beach from Hot Water if you must really do it!... More

Nice Beach... Just enjoyed it for its beachness and didn't actually dig at low tide to create a warm pool. Just enjoyed it for what it already offers as a nice beach to chill, relax and listen to the waves.
