As a fan of roadside attractions, I generally love things like this, but this one is simply ok to me. This is a small museum located where Bonnie and Clyde made their last food purchase before dying a few miles south of here. There's a...More

Two previous times I had driven west to east and saw the roadside sign next to Interstate 10 advertising the Bonnie & Clyde Ambush Museum. I vowed when I drove the route one last time when moving back to Georgia, I would stop to see...More

Definitely a unique museum! You could spend hours reading everything. Not nearly as gory as other reviewers made it sound. It’s worth the short drive off the highway.

This place is one of those side attractions that is just so odd, it's a neat experience. This place is the cafe where the bandits last grabbed a bite to eat. This place was operated by a family member of one of the men who...More

This small museum is situated in downtown Gibsland. There are actually 2 different buildings that house memorabilia and information on Bonnie and Clyde and the ambush (seems they are 2 separate entities.) The smaller building takes donations only and the larger building charges a $7...More

Here is a well done small museum dedicated to the hunt for and ambush shooting deaths of the most famous outlaw couple and the law enforcement officers involved. Located in Gibsland Louisiana makes it an easy stop off Route 20. Museum is run by a...More

Wow, was I surprised! Didn’t expect to feel many different emotions while walking through this place! It has a lot of stuff for such a small museum. Pick up a flyer of the poem written by Bonnie, helps you understand their life. I can’t explain...More

This museum is in an old smelly building. They have a nice documentary film to start you off. You are then on your own to walk through the exhibits. They have a strange fascination for the death photos of Bonnie & Clyde. There must be...More

We visited at the end of August 2017. The museum's star attraction is a reproduction of the car the pair were riding when ambushed about 8 miles south of town. I read a story about how this museum has the real car--not from the ambush...More

The markers are about 4 miles south of Gibsland. They are on the right side of the road as you go south.
