Here is a well done small museum dedicated to the hunt for and ambush shooting deaths of the most famous outlaw couple and the law enforcement officers involved. Located in Gibsland Louisiana makes it an easy stop off Route 20. Museum is run by a...More

Wow, was I surprised! Didn’t expect to feel many different emotions while walking through this place! It has a lot of stuff for such a small museum. Pick up a flyer of the poem written by Bonnie, helps you understand their life. I can’t explain...More

This museum is in an old smelly building. They have a nice documentary film to start you off. You are then on your own to walk through the exhibits. They have a strange fascination for the death photos of Bonnie & Clyde. There must be...More

We visited at the end of August 2017. The museum's star attraction is a reproduction of the car the pair were riding when ambushed about 8 miles south of town. I read a story about how this museum has the real car--not from the ambush...More

Didn't know that much about the notorious duo but I know more now.. lots of memorabilia and photos some recreations of the bullet riddled car. I didn't know they were so young.. if you are in the area it's worth the $7. 00 admission..

The amount of items and articles here are amazing. So many news articles and items. The owner was the most interesting to talk to and added so much to the experience. The entry price was very fair. If you are anywhere near here it is...More

I agree with Charles K.'s review from 2016. The only thing I would add is that the day we were there, there was such a strong gasoline smell in the building we couldn't stay very long. I don't know if one of the old cars...More

Read about this museum and just had to see it. Bonnie and Clyde had a terrible reputation and made history in their own way. The owner is a walking text book about their lives. The museum is filled with news paper articles, photos and had...More

Small museum with a lot of pics, newspaper articles, etc. Many things are duplicates shown in a few different areas, but still interesting. Some gory mannequins, but I'm sure not as gory as the actual bodies, etc. Not that I'd make a special trip, but...More

Went here with 12 & 9 year old children. Had a chance to talk to the owner and he had done extensive research on Bonnie and Clyde and had some personal family experiences relating to them. He was an interesting guy. Could be a shade...More

The markers are about 4 miles south of Gibsland. They are on the right side of the road as you go south.
