We went out yesterday evening, Capt Bill was concerned that we got GREAT photoes, and worked very dilligently to position us for light on the objects, and to give us time to get plenty of pics, he was attentive and a pleasure to be with, he told us about the areas and some history of the area. He knew the... More

We had a wonderful tour with Captain Billy Gaston! What was supposed to be a two hour tour ended up being almost four hours and we loved every minute. Not only was it informative and educational, it was great fun! It was amazing how Captain Billy was able to call out the gators by name. They came right up to... More

We saw and fed gators and saw many bald eagles. This is the tour you want to take. Billy makes you feel like family. His talks about ecology and the future of the bayou ecological system are very insightful.

Captain Billy was awesome! We had such a great time. The tour wasn't gimicky, it was just a real look into the swamps and the life of the cajun people. Even though it was new years eve, and cold for the swamp, we got to feed a couple alligators. Captain Billy let my kids feed the gators, which was probably... More

The highlight of our vacation. Amazing Billie Gaston calls alligators and eagles by their names and explains the ins and outs of the marshes and swams in an entertaining and informed way. The supposedly two hour tour was extended to 3.5 hours! Come and see Billie and the marsh before it gets drained :-)

Excellent Swamp tour. Very informative. Wildlife. We are the 4th of January 2017 and we saw a lot of alligators due to the fact that Billy Gaston knows them and feeds them. He grow in the aria and knows it like like his own pocket. The tour lasted 3 hours instead of 2 and that was fantastic. Billy explained and... More

Can not explain in words what a wonderful tour my hubby and I experienced with Captain Billy. You are warmly welcomed before you even step foot on the boat and become family when you step onto Captain Billy's boat. If you see something he will stop the boat and even turn around so he can explain what you see and... More

Thanks to Billie we had an amazing visit of the bayou! A lot of explanation about the wildlife, the plants, the Cajun way of life, how to hunt an alligator. Our children had a lot of fun as the tour is really kids friendly. We will take another tour with Cajun's man swamp, no hesitation!

Captain Billy and his tour was fun, funny, informative and exciting. On a cool December day Billy called in cold blooded gators by name! He showed us bald eagles, egrets, herons, falcons, ibis and other birds. He is born and bred true life Cajun who knows the swamp and bayous and relates its history and current struggles in a downhome,... More
