Stumbled on this by accident. Nice trailhead location with pretty good parking. There is a rail trail passing through that is 20+ miles end to end and Mandeville is about the middle. There is a bike rental place and snackbar but it was closed on the day we visited. There was a series of displays that showed information about Mandeville... More

The residents and public officials have done a fantastic job in developing this area. It is fantastic for children and activities throughout the year. Restaurants are abundant in the area and the fantastic Northshore lakefront only a few blocks away.

Such a beautiful bike ride! One day we rode from Covington to Mandeville, then another day we rode from Mandeville to Slidell and back. The Mandeville trailhead offers shade and plenty of parking. We had a bike problem, so we went to The Bike Path (store nearby) and Graham helped us on the spot with a new tire. The Mandeville-Slidell... More

This is my seventh ride on this premier trail connecting Slidell to Mandeville to Abita Springs to Covington. Flat, wooded, some gorgeous swampland, all paved and patrolled.

This trail goes in for over 20 miles. Paved, smooth and nearly flat in either direction; at least for the portion from Mandeville and going east. Groomed along the trail edges . Well marked. Beautiful scenery. Water and woods. Squirrels, deer, cardinals and other birds. Watched for gators and snakes , but no worries, saw none. Not overly busy trail,... More

I go every Saturday morning and sometimes I ride my bike. The food vendors are wonderful along with the local artists. The fresh veggies from our local farms supply the freshest fruits and vegetables. It's a must do on Saturday morning!

The market offers a huge variety from food, crafts, art, jewelry, fresh veggies, wooden swings, local honey, the best shaving supplies, Plants, quilt making, soaps, candles and many more items, too many to list. The music is very entertaining! I love to get something fresh to eat and sit and... More

The family and I head out many Saturdays for the market. We like it and the kids love the splash pad. Lots of live music at night. Great place to see the neighbors and socialize.

We have enjoyed a variety of activities at the trailhead. My kids love playing in the splash fountain as well as going on bike rides. I enjoyed the market. It was not huge, but enough diversity to be interesting.
