Fantastic historic area, it's definitely worth the stop and take the time to wander the streets, old buildings and meet the locals.

We strolled down the street around 6 or so and most of the shops were already closed. This was despite the fact that they had a good band playing and a fair crowd. Go early if you want to check out all the stores.

Restaurants are open. Such as for brunch. I recommend Mama's. Some of the shops open after lunch time.
