Very nice and new camp ground. Excellent bath house and full hook ups. Fishing is pretty good. Fairly close to Front St. in Natchitoches with tons of restaurants and historical places.

This is a lovely spot to stop. It over looks the Grand Ecore bluff on the river , and the historical info is very interesting.

The Red, the Atchafalaya, and the Mississippi all come together near here. The displays explain how the mighty Mississippi is made to keep its course south.

Grand Encore is a State Park. The visitor Center has displays and videos of the history of the surrounding area. It was very interesting to learn the history and see the artifacts from hundreds of years ago. The staff person on hand was very friendly...More
