Public fishing lake available to anyone that wants to shore or boat fish. Nothing special about the area. No services at all.

Loved the back history about this lake. Breakfast overlooking the lake and remnants of the brick chimney.

Cool breezes from the nearby Gulf Of Mexico make this a nice stop in the springtime. There are lots of local things to do and see in area New Iberia is just 15-20 minutes away.

My dad took us fishing there a lot. It is so quiet and peaceful. Good fishing. We never went boating but they have a boat ramp.
