We didn't take the tour but stopped to shop for souvenirs. They have a vast collection of items to buy. Toys, edibles, cookbooks and more. The cashier/owner was a sweet old Cajun who made us feel welcome as soon as we entered. She was very helpful and informative about the mill even though we didn't purchase the tour. Definitely taking... More

We saw the store selling typical tourist junk along with their products. I would not come just to see the store. I didn't feel like it was worth the time. If we had realized there was a tour it would have been better.

We were not sure what to expect as from the outside it looks almost abandoned! However it's a real historic working rice mill, complete with historic equipment, historic wooden beams and historic rust. Great guide who took us around and explained how it all works and showed us the products the company make from rice. Well worth a visit if... More

The store is where you join the tour that includes a video of Cajun culture in the area and an explanation of rice growth and processing. After the video you walk over to the original rice processing plant, which is nicely set up with an explanation of how rice goes through various processing processes, and what happens with all the... Some authentic items, none apparently processed at the rice mill, some possibly packaged there nut not sure. Worth an hour in conjunction with the short 20 minute tour.

My wife and I visited Konrico in October of 2016 and after enjoying the factory tour purchased a number of items in the Company Store. One of the items was a bag of their "Pecan" Rice. We bought this home , but did not open it until last night as we had other rice at home to finish off first.... More

This stop will not be for everyone. You must truly be interested in learning about milling of rice and if you are...this is the place. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the industry, company, and area. We learned everything there was to know about rice milling and saw some incredible machinery in this truly historic mill. The company store... More

The KONRIKO Company Store is very nice. Full of nice gifts, souvenirs, food items, and local crafts. Good prices and friendly staff. Do buy some of the Wild Pecan Rice, the specialty of KONRIKO. Plenty of parking, and take the tour of the old Conrad Rice Mill.

My husband and I are fans of factory tours so we decided to visit. The plant, while still operating, is more of a museum and you only get to see the first floor. But you do get to see a model of the operation and the guide gives a full explanation. We enjoyed the film on Cajun life, tasting the... More
