LEARN ABOUT THE AREA
Nov 2017 • Family
The facility was conveniently located near the hotels so you are able to just walk there. Inside they have a very interesting display about a very large alligator caught in the area. They also have lots of pamphlets on all of the activities in around the area that you can see. There was a person on staff to answer questions, it was very clean and very well organized. We were there near Thanksgiving so they were getting things ready for Christmas and they really were going all out. They had a room for kids to walk through that was a real winter wonderland and they were going to have Santa there as well as local vendors. Sounds like a great event and certainly is a large enough place for all kinds of activities to be held.

Perfect location for the Oldies but Goodies Fest
Sep 2017 • Couples
The indoor facility is the perfect size for events, functions, etc. The grounds are perfect for festivals and outdoor events. The Oldies but Goodies Fest is one of our favorite events because of this location.

They were very nice Members; you can talk to know something about the History. You can buy nice Souvenirs in the Shop and they are very helpful; you pay there for the Visit of USS KID; no expensive.

Information center
Jun 2017 • Family
This was my first stop at this tourist center and facility was excellent and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The center had plenty of brochures and information on things to do in the area and within Louisiana. Great stop to make before getting into Baton Rouge, LA.
