Swamp Tour with Captain Bishop was included free comedy show. Bishop made the entire tour highly entertaining. He was very knowledgeable about the swamp environment and history and complimented that with hilarious jokes and anecdotes. Def ask for a spot on Captain Bishop’s boat (unless...More

Great time with our guide Judah. We saw raccoons, hogs, and two alligator heads. Giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because we wish it would have been warmer so we would have seen more gators. However, this is no fault of the company and...More

We were looking to see some gators, and we did! We also saw raccoons, wild boar, and a couple of different types of herons. This was a wonderful and informative tour.

I strongly DO NOT recommend this Swamp tour company. It seems it’s all about the money to Cajun Encounters. The customers come second, and sadly the animals on this “eco tour” come third. Passengers are so tightly packed on the boat, literally wedged in, that...More

The staff was great and process was super easy and organized. We had a very knowledgeable tour guide. We saw quite a bit of wildlife including raccoons, herons, turtles and gators. The nature was much prettier than I expected for a swamp.

We did the early morning tour and we definitely got our money's worth. The weather was perfect, the breeze once on the water was terrific. If it's too hot, the animals won't be out. Don't think it would be an issue with... More
