A great skiing experience even with an accident

I'd like to say that this was one of my favorite places to ski. They have a ton of terrain for all abilities. We skied all day all over the mountain. At the end of the day my newbie daughter decided to ski into the underground tunnel on the green trails. Immediately the staff was terrific. They helped her down... More

Great snow coverage. Fast lifts. The is no end to all the terrain. You can spend all day cruising different trails. Beautiful views. Just a bit pricey $$$ lift tickets, look for online bargains

Incredible! Lines were long but snow was fresh! We always suggest packing waters, lunch and packages of hot chocolate when we go! Just head to the cafe for some hot water! Girls loved the enchanted forest!!!

Truly the best terrain so if you're an avid skier/rider, you won't care about the small things that could make this a 5 star place to visit. What I loved: 1. THE STAFF. Now, I grew up in Maine so I'm a little partial but even my husband who grew up in MA said the staff were a 10. We... More

Sunday River is big mountain skiing in the East. The new Chondola is fast and gets you up the hill quickly...the grooming is great. The staff is friendly and they seem to like their jobs. Food is expensive, but it is everywhere. We skied after a 2' snowfall and really enjoyed the glades at Jordan...great skiing!

So, kudos to SR for its snowmaking and grooming abilities which are exceptional and may be better than anything else in New England. Having said that, when it comes to Food and Beverage watch out. New England ski area food for the most part merits a rating, at best, of mediocre. SR takes it to a new low. There used... More

Ok so you'd have to live in a cave to NOT know it was going to snow on Friday. Yet when I arrived at 8:15 am, the lots were not plowed. We were herded to the White Cap Lodge to park, Where uopn we had to wait in line to purchase tickets. I have a Maxpass and tried to get... More

Sunday River was awesome. Driving in it was dark and one could only see what the headlights lite up. In the morning light the amazement was revieled. 6 mountain peaks and a wide variety of terrain awaits. Its a great ski location. Just a little off the beaten path.
