Though I am not a Hindu by religion, I love visiting temples as usually temples are very calm, quiet and well maintained. Visit here was just awesome.

This is one of the oldest and famous temples in Kerala. It is a swayaboo. Keezkaavu is Mahakali roopam and the pooja is raktha pushpanjali and the holi water given is Guruthi. Melkaavu is santharupi mahadevi.

Very popular temple, I visited with a friend local to the area on a Sunday and it was very busy. I didn't chose to leave my shoes outside, I put them in my bag.
