A great view of the harbor of Camden Maine. Go check it out if in the area. You will really enjoy it. It must be a great view in the fall with the foliage.

We went to the Camden State Park and hiked then drove up to Mount Battie. Gorgeous views all around, especially from the fun stone tower! Great place to just sit and relax.

Took the trail closest to town. Fairly steep and could be a bit of a challenge for some coming back down the same way. Very short hike but would be pretty warm on a summer day and in May there are plenty of black flies...More

The view does not disappoint. It is incredible how the mountains meet the ocean. This view will stay in your mind and heart.

My sixty-something husband and I tried to hike up the Mount Battie Trail from Camden town and it was a lot harder than the trail descriptions lead one to believe. It’s pretty steep with not much relief and you’ll need to do a lot of...More

We hiked three trails on Mount Battie and enjoyed each one for the trails themselves and the views they afforded of Camden and Lake Megunticook. The hikers before us left no evidence of their passing--the trails are free of debris.

You can choose a gently hike up this small mountain, or a more rigorous hike - we did both and it was great

Was a short drive to the top, but could also be hiked if you are more adventurous. The view of Camden Harbor is breathtaking.

Well worth the ride or hike up to the top. I suggest bringing a picnic and hanging out to enjoy the view for awhile.

The road is paved, two-laned and 1.5 miles in length. Tour buses and motorhomes can climb/descend it with no problem.
