My family travelled to Maine from Virginia for vacation this year. Maine is so very beautiful, but I have to say Ft William's Park was magnificent and top of the list for favorite places visited.

Wonderful and beautiful views complete with the Portland Head Light (lighthouse). Plenty of walking paths and many great spots for pictures. Also free entry to the park with free parking, and a small fee for the museum.

We took our dogs and spend a great few hours seeing the sites and eating lobster rolls and lobster blts from Bite into Maine (honestly, the BEST lobster roll you'll ever have). So glad we went.
