As a former resident of Freeport, I made the effort to shop local. I was disappointed in When Pigs Fly. I visited on several occasions, thinking maybe I had hit on an off day. Each visit was the same, breads that looked overbaked and\or burnt.

The selection of bread was just amazing, and every one we tried was so good! We had an apple cider bread, spinach and garlic, and sourdough and they were all so good. I only wish we had a location near home.

Set up in bins/baskets all favorites and odd combos. Specials can be had. Bring home whole or they slice it for you there! Yum! Gotta leave with something! Small store.

We purchased the German sourdough, the olive loaf, and spinach and garlic loaf along with some basil dipping oil. It was all so delicious! Would recommend this place to everyone! Every one there was so friendly!

Lots of variety and they slice the bread for you if you want. There's samples to try and the dipping oils are great.
