Very peaceful, Beautiful & Relaxing! We drop our boat in here to head to Boothbay Harbor/Popham. Easy access in and out. The park is always clean. I see police patrol travel through often which makes you feel safe & secure and worry free vehicle parking while on the water.

Quite often in the summer my husband and I will get a sandwich or something and take it to the Gardiner Waterfront part to eat it. There are nice grassy areas, plants and flowers and nice board walk. The Kennebec River flows by and it's just a nice place to relax.

Several of us participated in the 2016 Cruise In of antique vehicles on Thursdays, May through September, at the Gardiner Waterfront. As cars, trucks and motorcycles made their appearance, the First Baptist Church, along with Central Maine Meats, provided food and cold & hot drinks. The atmosphere was friendly and it was relaxing for the spectators as they meandered through... More

While it can get busy at times, it is mostly quiet. This riverside park is a nice place in Gardiner to unwind and relax. There is a public boat launch here, so there is some action and its great to overhear what people are saying to each other as they finish up a day fishing or boating. Many workers from... More

Awesome place to people watch, drink coffee and enjoy the view! Love the water, plenty of parking, close to downtown. In contrast to where I live now. Gardiner Montana.

Take the pups and walk along the river, sit on a grassy slope to watch a loon dive under the surface, look up to see an eagle soaring overhead or be surprised as a fish jumps up from the depths and sends out expanding circles of ripples. On many afternoons it is a quiet refuge but it can also hop... More

Not too much to do....We took a walk and looked at the water. Lots of people were getting on boats and jet skis. Its a nice park for a family picnic and maybe a little fishing.

While staying at The Stone Turret, we took a walk to this park. Great little walk for the morning. We enjoyed the waterfront view and watching boats being launched.

Gardiner has a lovely waterfront area, with a great boat launch, a pier, plenty of parking, and just a nice area to walk around or have a picnic. Just beware the sneaky seagulls!

I love the Waterfront Park. It is a great place to sit and aborb the beauty of the area or fish or have a picnic or just walk around. There is a large parking lot and a sidewalk for walking. My favorite is watching the moon come up over the Kennebec River. Whenever I go it is always neat and... More
