We took the five hour Mt Kineo cruise on Oct 4 and it was wonderful. The "Thanksgiving sandwich" which we shared was great. It was made with "home roasted" turkey!

Went on our first cruise yesterday, we had a wonderful time, met some great people and saw some gorgeous foliage! The people of the Katadhin Cruise were very friendly and we learned a lot about Moosehead Lake and specifically the Kate. This boat is historically...More

We took the 3 hour Sugar Island cruise on the SS Katahdin. There wasn't a full load of passengers but there were plenty. It's an interesting old boat- 103 years old- and has been restored. They keep you apprised of what has happened over the...More

Make sure you pick a sunny day and dress warmly, even in summer as the water is cool and the breezes brisk. The views are great and Moosehead Lake is a special body of water.

Hello Wendy, I am sorry that you had a negative experience parking at the museum. While we do generally discourage parking on the grass next to our parking lot, there was no need for you to be treated rudely. We value our patrons and always...More

The Katahdin is a real treat for visitors to Greenville. The Sunday brunch was very generous and tasty. Loved seeing the sights from the boat. The captain provides a narrative as the boat travels along the lake. Would highly recommend.
