This 'pond' (447 acres) has an interesting shoreline. It was very pleasant to paddle and explore. It does tend to get windy at times, I recommend going in the morning or evening.

Caught a bass a few times, explored some islands and did some fishing. Easily accessible from marked well. Don't fish from the boat launch very rocky.

Prong Pond is absolutely outstanding! We rented canoes from Northwoods Outfitters and when we arrived had the whole lake to ourselves. We spent two hours paddling all around the take circling the islands, and saw loons. It was really priceless.

Perfect Maine pond, full of fish and scenery guaranteed to lower your blood pressure! There are hundreds of area ponds to choose from, but prong has been a favorite since I was a kid...no surprise it had its own tripadvisor spot!
