Located along the southern Maine coastal drive this a peaceful stop to see several thoughtful statues and an outdoor worship area. There is free admission, parking and restrooms.

So glad my husband and I took a few minutes to go to the Monastery. The grounds were beautiful and the history was very interesting.

Hidden place. If bus tour didn't take you it would be hard to find. I enjoyed the Monastery and the history our guide gave us. The grounds were very nice when we where there in October. The restrooms were fine as well.

A very nice quiet spot to go hiking. Short trail goes along the river. Did not get to visit the other areas of the monastery but will go back next year to do more.

It is an ok place to visit and learn of the history. Secluded area not particularly well manicured. Bathroom was nasty. It is serene and peaceful. One of the monks was sitting in the sunlight dozing or meditating.

Campbell Soup made a monastery. That was the story our guide cooked up for us. Beautiful grounds and buildings.

Another beautiful area with well kept grounds. Several areas to walk around. The gift shop was closed for lunch when we visited and we would have loved to have seen it as well.
