This boardwalk was very fun! My husband and I were able to go for a nice walk and learn things along the way. There are informative boards along the way where we learned about what is in Maine's woods from animals to plants and trees!...More

Loved learning different things about the wildlife in the area, and it is a good walk. Once we finished with the bog area, we kept walking in the trails.

Where else can one walk through a bog? The boardwalk has been almost completely redone with Trex planking and there are benches periodically so you can sit down to drink in the beauty that surrounds you.

The Orono Bog should not be missed. It's a beautiful, quiet, amazing place. Any trip to Orono should include a trip to the bog.

This is a great opportunity to see natural beauty. The boardwalk is easily accessible and makes for a comfortable, flat, stroll. The signs are informative. The walk is a great photo opportunity. There are a lot of unusual plants.

A short walk, that could take hours! Pitcher plants, wild blueberries, birds, and lichen. A must for any traveling naturalist or local that needs some fresh air.
