Large variety of cars, planes and motorcycles, plus history lessons. I thought I knew a lot but I learned a lot about aviation and aviation pioneers. Great way to spend 3-4 hours.

There is a great collection of vehicles and aircraft at the Owls Head Transportation Museum. There are several events during the year that are a must see. We went to the car and air show and it was the highlight of our weekend.

While there are certainly larger antique car museums, Owl's Head is both well presented and quite interesting. It's all a matter of quality over quantity, and this one is definitely quality. In addition to the cars, they also have a good collection of antique airplanes,...More

I've been there several times, and every time I see something more- either a new exhibit, something I missed before, or something that one of the staff points out about the exhibits on display. If you like cars, planes, their history, or learning about them, this...More

This attraction is truly special...very, very well-done. The exhibits are unusual and in mint condition, regardless of age. One of the nicest features is the encouragement to touch and "work" the exhibits. The museum is easy to navigate and truly covers diverse means of transportation,

This museum was simply amazing. Not just automobiles, but trucks, gypsy trailers, planes, bikes. Wonderful ones in great shape. Great videos to tie it together.

We had a good time, though there was a major auto auction over the weekend and the aircraft were not as easily available. However we did see some vintage autos including a VW in light blue from the 50's and a gorgeous Packard that had...More

All I can say is that it was fascinating, well planned out and interesting to all of us. The Women Who Dare (3 who were pioneers in cars and airplanes) exhibit and videos were excellent (be sure and check out the display across from the...More
