I only five a few miles from Range Pond State Park so I go there frequently for a late day dip or to enjoy a full day of sun and swimming. The place can get packed in the summer and this is the only reason...More

Beautiful place to hike and swim. At less popular times of day or day is the week it's a really nice place where you can access nature without having to be an athlete. It was crowded on the holiday.

Glorious distraction on a hot summer day. Water was nice temperature and when I swam out a bit farther a loon appeared right next to me! Good facilities, shady spots for picnics, lots of families with little kids. Super packed the day I went!

The ranger has problems with town folks. We buy a seasons pass every year for all Maine State Parks, but for some reason the ranger still loves to harass us.

This park makes for a great day trip, but by half way through the summer the water doesn't feel or look clean anymore. There are just too many bodies in too warm water. The playground is fun for the kids and the beach is a...More

We really enjoyed a day trip to this great state park. There is a lengthy beach with wheelchair accessibility. There is a playground. The beach is sandy and the water was very nice -- not terribly cold. There are restrooms and changing rooms. We went...More
