Took the 9:00 am boat. Nice tour of the harbor. Drove around for a while and finally got some glimpses of whales. A really pleasant way to spend the day

We went on the 2pm excursion and it was a lovely boat ride punctuated with a few seals, many different kinds of birds, something called a Malo Malo that is a huge ugly fish, and a relatively rare finback whale. Our naturalist seemed very knowledgeable...More

This was an enjoyable morning and we saw Minke whales, sea otters, dolphins, and other fish and birds. The guide was very good. The ride was a bit rocky so if you get sea sick, you'll want to take something.

They say there is a very good chance because the water is warmer. Unfortunately they are wild animals and you really never know what you will get. You either get everything or nothing.

Parking is an issue in this area, but there are some parking lots and garages not too far away. We parked in a garage about 2 blocks away. The Odyssey Whale Watching place is located in a very heavy tourist area. There is... More

We took the tour in September and did not see any whales. I believe that April is a little early as the water is still very cold.
