This is a great tour for those who are curious about the lobster fishery. Friendly crew explained everything and helped passengers empty the lobster traps, discard the old bait, put in fresh, remove stubborn crabs, and return the traps to the water. Sizing, sexing, and...More

Really great trip with actually hauling a few lobster pots. Unfortunately, the only lobster was not big enough to keep. Great views of the lighthouses and forts in Casco Bay. Very informative Captain and guide. Friendly. Learned a lot about lobsters and the industry. Got...More

Enjoyed our Saturday morning cruise on a nice cool day in Portland. We thought it was very informative and interactive, especially since we did not know anything about lobsters. Great tour guides too! We have two college students and there were families with young kids...More

We took this cruise with some out of town guests & it was definitely a hit. Casco Bay is beautiful, so this cruise is well worth it just for the view. However, Captain Tom & the crew set this apart from other Casco Bay experiences....More

We went twice, first time was really good for the kids , they were involved. Second was different , the kids were not allowed to do anything. So the trip is nice and instructive, but all the fun depends on the staff.

My wife has a very queasy stomach. She is very nervous about riding in a small boat that may cause sea sickness. Does your boat stay in a harbor, or does it go out into open water?

We stay in the calmer waters of the bay. Sea sickeness is something our passenger hardly ever experience.
