We have sailed the Maine coast with our own boat for many years and found Penobscot Bay to be the most delightful. Now in our eighties, we are no longer able to do it alone and therefore enjoy day cruises to renew found memories. We...More

Beautiful day for a sail on a very nice schooner! Sitting in the cockpit with a nice breeze catching the sails and the boat healing over was a wonderful experience!

Went on the Eco tour. Had a blast. Nice just getting on the water. Perfect day. Nice wind but no real chop. Crew was experienced, helpful and knowledgeable. Nicest part of our trip, really.

Sailed on Heron on a great weather day in September. I have sailed many times on this schooner. Owners and crew are very hospitable and the memories of the cruise are truly perpetual. I look forward to coming back next season.

Lovely way to spend a few hours. We took the mid-day eco tour and found it very interesting. Bonnie was a great story teller and was full of info about the area and inhabitants.

Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful boat, comfortable seating, well-navigated tour, just the right amount of guided historical commentary, and a cup of hot chocolate (or coffee or tea). A perfect afternoon sail with a group of local friends.

It was a foggy day so visibility was limited however it was a fantastic tour of the bay and history of the area that included the limestone, ship building and lobster industries. We even saw two dolphins!

Yes I was told there is a head but did not use it myself. It is a complete working yacht.

They do not provide a 'narrative' , but will answer any and all questions. I'm sure if you request details as to what you are seeing they will be more than happy to accommodate the request.
