Tucked away in the woods....so much history from a tragic Crash site. Plane debree left in the woods....in remembrance of a January 1963 bomber crash into a side of the mountain. A must see. Simple hike. Just devasting....remarkable two survived.

This is an amazing place to see. There are two ways to get here which requires off road driving but is accessible with a car depending on the time of year you visit.

Very sacred. Overwhelming seeing pieces of the B 52 Bomber everywhere and that 7 people lost there lives and 2 serviced. So sad.

We took our kids to show them some local history. The hike was not to hard. Watching the kids somber faces as they saw that this airplane crash was ever so real was priceless. They each took something from our adventure.

Easy drive on dirt roads to get to the parking area. Short walk in the woods and you'll start seeing debris from the plane, and then you'll be overwhelmed. We went on a cloudy, dreary day which enhanced the setting. The B 52 is a...More
