This beach had some of the larger waves I’ve seen in the area. It’s popular spot with surfers. Or if you’re like me, a good spot to read a book and listen to the waves. Probably not the best beach for families with small children....More

Lovely, clean, rocky beach, has life guards. Downside is it cost $8 a person to get in, and the rest rooms were one step above a Porta Potty. Pretty gross, but if ya gotta go....... I heard someone say they were compost toilets. There was...More

Got to beach at 9am, lot already full. You have to walk really far for parking. Just a foot shower and pits for bathroom. Very rocky. Beach is beautiful but they make it seem like they don't want visitors. We had a nice time but...More

Been here many times. Great beach near Prouts Neck. Lifeguards, bathrooms, and limited parking. Can be very crowded on summer weekends. Great body surfing in fabulously clear Atlantic waters. Bring chairs and picnic lunch, no food for sale since the old grocer closed. Wonderful walks...More

There's plenty of sandy coast line at this beach. It was really packed when we went but we still managed to find a spot to setup. There are a lot of waves and the water was freezing! In all, it's still a great beach to...More

Lots of sandy beach to sit, play and watch the waves. I didn't brave the cold Maine water, but others did.

Great beach..very scenic. It is also good for surfing with the right weather conditions. It can be busy and parking is limited that can cause the access to be a bit of a problem during peak times. The staff is not always the most customer focused.
