This is NOT a handicap friendly lighthouse. You can see it from the shore, but if you want to walk out to it, you'll have to be fairly physically fit. I'm not kidding when I say that I felt like a kid again! There is...More

This lighthouse is small but good to see. It's right within the southern Maine community college campus. You can walk right up to it but watch your step. The walkway is simply placed rocks with some wide deep gaps

It is so beautiful, almost majestic! We have seen most of the light houses in Maine! This is one of the few we had not seen! It stands there at the end of the point, it stands so tall. Chalk up another beauty seen!

The Spring Point Ledge Lighthouse is so beautiful!!! Be careful on your walk toward it since the rocks are spaced a little apart. Other than that, enjoy the view!

Great lighthouse that's easily accessible to get all the way up to by a large rock break wall. We enjoyed that you can even go inside for a free tour!

During the ride on our 13 mile bicycle trek, we visited 3 lighthouses. This one was at the water's edge next to a college. After spending time at the Porthead Lighthouse, this was a bit of a disappointment, but it was lovely as well.

We chose to visit this light because it's between Head and Bug. It was easy to get to and I liked that it wasn't the "typical" light style.
