What a perfect day with the perfect catch!

Late August 4-hour morning trip with 4 other fishermen. Live-well was a cooler with a hose pouring in fresh water (thus overflowing all over the back of the boat). First mate was a friendly young kid that didn't seem too enthusiastic about his assignment (captain had to tell him what to do many times). Saw Capt Satch for about 30... More

We've done fishing tours in the past and I cannot recommend this outfit enough! The crew was knowledgeable and extremely friendly. They introduced the group and got everyone talking for the run out to the fishing area. They were attentive to everyone on the boat. Big fishing outfits are not the way to go. Captain Sach includes only about 10... More

We went out this morning for the 4 hour trip, 8am-noon. It was a bit choppy and 2 of my 3 kids got sick off the side of the boat. It was very choppy out today, due to the wind factor. Other than that, we had a great time and the captain, Tom, and his assistant, Wit, were very helpful... More

Agree with the positive reviews. Very good experience for families. Not a bad experience for kids to learn to catch baitfish. Friendly, very hard working staff. Thoughtful and colorful owner took out two boats today instead of cramming us all onto one boat which would have improved margins by saving on fuel costs as well as allow him a morning... More

Ok to be honest we only caught mackerel and Pollack on our 4 hour trip but that's because the rain was coming down in buckets and we had to return after 2 hours at sea. They did not charge us and were very apologetic. Captain and crew were awesome and did their best to make the time fun. As stated... More

We went out yesterday on the inshore trip. We have been going deep sea fishing every summer for the last 6 years with them. As usual we had a great time fishing with them. They supply all the gear and set it up for you. They are really friendly and helpful. They even clean the fish if you want to... More

We had a very nice trip with three staff from Captain Satch's. Beautiful day and a lot of fun, but we were really disappointed that we didn't catch any fish. Also, our original trip had to get moved since the date we booked only had us on it and they wanted to get more people on the boat, which kind... More

When I read the 2 poor reviews, I almost fell off of my chair!!! I have fished on many boats in Hawaii, Cancun, Montauk ,Great lakes etc and understand that this is called fishing not catching. With that said, I have never walked away from a trip feeling this totally ripped off even when the fishing was at it's slowest.... More

If you are looking for a real fun trip go with capt satch and sons. We did the morning trip left at 8:00 and returned at noon. We first hit mackerel capt Nick made sure we were in the right spot. The first mate, Joe, satches grandson was full of energy and could not be more helpful. We set out... More

I cannot express in enough positive terms how much we enjoyed the Satch & Sons 10 hour deep sea fishing trip! As landlocked Canadian city dwellers, we had zero deep sea fishing experience and were a little apprehensive about booking this trip. But right from the booking, we were made to feel comfortable and enthusiastic. Captain Satch's operation is nothing... More
