We've been going here for 20 years. Its a lovely beach that is about 2 miles long. Never too crowded and very clean. The only problem is, you need to plan your beach day around high tide since the entire beach dissapears!

Wells is a nice clean beach . The parking is a bit pricey at $25.00 for a day. There is a snack bar that has ice cream, burgers and drinks.

Beautiful beach, quiet. Able to walk a short distance to view seals offshore on Bucklin Rock. During high tide, beach is under water but offers a large beach area during low tide with interesting tide pools to explore.

Wells Beach is well cared for with lifeguards and no dogs allowed. The sand is great and it is never hugely crowded. ample parking

I don't know what the official rules there are regarding smoking. I have seen a few people smoking there, including the lifeguards.
