We have been collecting since the early easy 80s and this is really a great find in a small town in Maine. We have visited this place for about 5 years, and they have had new ownership in the last couple of years. In the past it was stuffy, filled with crafts and the people were not very nice. The... Plan to spend AT LEAST an hour here, if not more. This place is huge! It's an old barn full of booths of wonderful little antiques and treasures. There's a little bit of everything here. If you're looking for old furniture or old woodworking tools, this is the place for you!

I moved back to Maine this summer and me and my Fiancee really enjoyed this Antique market. All sorts of unique finds. This building actually has three floors! Every corner of this building is filled so you could possibly spend hours here looking around! If your a tourist to Wiscasset I recommend you stop here before going downtown, or skip... More

They have a lot of things to look over. Enjoyed looking around. I didn't buy anything but that is okay.

We had a map of Antiques Markets of Maine and stopped a probably a dozen of them in a week. The Avalon was one of the better ones, in my opinion. Lots of glassware, primitives and collectibles in a well laid out shop over two floors. Bright lighting, clean. Parking was plentiful and even though it was unseasonably hot outside,... More

Great variety of antiques...primitives, glass victorian, jewelry, arts n crafts, etc....something for everyone. Great prices... Great staff...they were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our visit there. ..We were out of towners and they made us feel welcome. We love their late hours too...open til 7 pm. Hope to visit there again.

We have gone past this place a thousand times over the years and no idea why we never stopped. Glad we finally took someone's recommendation and did so. A great shopping experience. Purchased a few small items reasonably priced and fell in love with some large pieces that were very expensive but really enjoyed shopping there. Didn't leave feeling like... More

A varied array of old and not so old things. We purchased a set of early 1900's pressed-back kitchen chairs there. Price was good and the chairs are in real nice shape, ready to use. If you like strolling through antiques, you'll like their 3 floors of cool stuff.
