When the water goes out and there is space its one of the best i have ever been too....The waves are medium size but when the tide goes out the tidal pools will keep you looking for hours

My family has been coming here is the late 1800's. Wonderful memories for many generations. The town has done a wonderful job of keeping short sands beach and York Village quaint and New England community.

Small but lovely beach. Clean and quaint attractions. Best to get there early because since it is a small beach there isn't tons of parking. Love this beach.

Short Sands is a destination for our family multiple time a summer. Make sure you get there early, or you will be circling the parking lot looking for a space.
