Hiked several trails, enjoyed watching birds. Blue birds, Tufted Tit-mouse, nuthatches, chipping sparrows, and several others at camp site. Also saw and heard a hawk while hiking green trail. Relaxing.

We visited twice for a couple of hours while we were in the area, for a walk round the lake. The main path is well made and there are several rougher trails where the kids can expend their energy. We came very close to deer...More

The park rangers and security were very aggressive. A young couple near us were visited by SIX ranger, during the afternoon, who proceeded to inspect every inch of their campsite, going through their coolers, looking through their vehicles. And for what? My friend went and...More

We camped in the Cedar Loop with another family next to the bathrooms. Both sites were immaculate and level. Close to bathroom and far enough that it was not a distraction and other campers did not cross through our site or space. Bathrooms temperature was...More

We live close to Greenbriar State Park and have been going there in the summer for 30 years. It has a roped off sandy beach and lifeguards in the summer months (not always, though). There is also a grassy area with shade trees, 2 pavilions...More

Unless you get there super early. Ypu will not find a spot any where. The park is insanely crowded. Between the sound of carnival music blasting out of speakers from group to group. And the sounds of 1000s of kids. We stayed for about 10...More

I am trying to find out if there is an entry fee to Lake Greenbrier. We will be coming in 3 separate cars - 6 adults and 3 children. Can you help me?

The entrance fee for the lake is $3 per person weekdays and $5 per person on weekends. Kids in car seats get in free.

According to their website: Weekdays 3$/pp. weekends and holidays 5$/pp. if out of state add 2$ to all fees. We were camping so our fees covered the entire park.
