This is a very cute and historic town. The best time to see it is during the week when it is not so busy. They have great shops where you can find Bargains....

We went there on Monday. Most of the shops were closed, they close Monday and Tuesday!! Very surprisly. Place is nice, but not during morning time. Good idea to visit after 4 pm, but again they close early around 6! I think old town Alexanderia...More

I cant wait to return. This whole city amazed us...walking tours, railroad museum, and antique shops to die for! Be sure to drive around side streets if you are in auto after this tour and create your own tour.
