Pretty impressive gold statue rising high in the sky. Quite areas to sit and ponder. This is the beginning of the trail through the National Shrine. This statue sits atop the gift shop.

Very peaceful place to stop. Beautiful statue that can be easily seen from the highway. Plenty of parking. Short walk to the Grotto of Lourdes. Nice place to relax.
