This place seems like a nice collection of historic buildings, and it kind of is. However... the blacksmith shop was bristling with activity, and although we have seen many blacksmiths in action, it's always kind of fascinating, so we watched. Next was a trip across...More

I enjoy visiting here. The museums, giftshop/old general store, black smith shop, nature trails are very cool and informative to experience. Great picnic area and fishing areas too. Don't forget to visit the old historic (and haunted) 👻Jericho Covered Bridge! 👍

I learned to blacksmith here! The volunteer group that are the caretakers this place do a wonderful job. There are horse trails and a river runs through it! If you bring a dog you MUST keep them on a leash because of the horses!

Found this little gem by chance. It is a lovely historic village in a beautiful setting. On the weekends at least there are tradesmen and sometimes a blacksmith. It is like a mini colonial williamsburg only free and more quaint.
