We took our 3 year old and it is amazing! All kinds of history and exhibits and if you have small children, be ready to hear "look look airplane!" Lol

I volunteer with the Dept. of Aging and took a group of seniors there for a tour. The docents were very knowledgeable and even answered personal questions.

Hard to believe that this museum is not federally funded. Great work by the volunteers. Nice to see the history. Great to see the planes, ejection seats,engines,etc. Best part was being able to talk to the volunteers. They had so much to offer. Great insight...More

Actually we were at an event for the museum this night! There was music, food great company and oodles of information about aviation from near and far. Being the kids to see the static displays they are really neat.

The Patuxent River Naval Air Museum is a small museum, but new renovations have really brightened the future of the museum! I look forward to visiting again as new items are put on display

Yes, admission for adults was $5.00 when I visited in February. See my review dated 13 Feb 2016 for more details.
