We took a 4 yr old, a 10 yr old, and a pregnant woman on the Swallow Falls hike, and it was a good fit for all of us. Easy hiking and dramatic landscape.

A nice 1.5 mile looping trail. We did the outer loop hitting Trolliver falls first then ending at the finale, Muddy Creek Falls. Lots of lookout/photo spots.

This is a great place for a 2-3 hour hike and/or picnic very nearby Deep Creek Lake. The forest is a beautiful mix of trees with some very old stands of trees. The three waterfalls are cool. Local teenagers were jumping off the falls in...More

I took my kids there for the first time when the falls were frozen solid and, despite the freezing temperature, it was magical! we all loved and we want to go back again in the Summer to see it under another light!

We took 3 cars of teenagers on a roadtrip and ended up here. It was a pretty cool day and rainy and dreary but we stopped anyway. They put on their bathing suits and took their towels so their clothes wouldn't get wet. We walked...More

Different trails lead to three different waterfalls. Trails are pretty easy and well maintained. The main falls are not impressive but the walk offers a great family time!

Must see! We went during a rain storm with ice on the ground and I still recommend it!! Easy hike when there’s no snow/ice on the ground.

Beautiful hike to the falls with snow and ice surrounding. I’m sure it’s gorgeous in a whole other way in different seasons. If you like hiking and beautiful scenery - don’t miss it.

We went there twice in 2 days. We made to see three falls. We saw 4 brave kayaks. The hiking was not clear marked. We managed to hike with our common sense. It was interesting to see 2 falls directly to each other.

If you take the path the left from the parking lot, it will very shortly take you to the top of Muddy Creek Falls (that's the big one). However, to actually get a good look at the falls, you'll have to go down a rather long... More
