We use the tram each year when down on vacation.......we usually walk from our hotel down to the inlet,,,,checking all the stores along the way. Then its time to rest and ride back. It is not for someone in a hurry, because of picking up and dropping people along the way.

The tram is great for a view and to see all the boardwalk shops, game areas, rides and food etc. However it will be a slow pace. THE OC Beach bus is the way to go for speed and money. It's just $3 for the ENTIRE day 6am-6am and travels the ENTIRE 10 miles each way of Ocean City!

I used the tram several times and found the drivers to be very courteous. Really came in handy since I have back problems.

It was nice to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. I suggest paying one way to save your energy to walk the other. Never miss a thing on the boardwalk.

I convinced my wife to take the tram with me so we could see the rest of the boardwalk...I talked with the conductor ( only male one ) and said we wanted to take it there and back...He says you can pay one way then just pay again when we get to the end...went to give him a 20 for... More

Always a nice, friendly ride up to 27th street and back. The staff is always friendly and polite and the view of the ocean and beach is great! You can check out which stores you want to visit and stop wherever you like. They have a pass special between 11 AM and 4PM and they do take credit cards at... More

The Broadwalk is 3 miles long and for $6.00 a person 10-4 you can ride unlimited, otherwise it is $3.00 a trip per person, so really you can take a 6 mile trip up and down Broadwalk for $6.00, a great deal!

I do not understand why people expect Tram to be fast -its meant to be for fun not convenience. If you want get around Ocean City fast use UBER,taxi, bus,etc...-if you want to have fun ride on the boardwalk use Tram. My kids loved it.

The tram is slow and inefficient. There is no lane on the boardwalk dedicated to tram traffic so the tram literally drives down the middle of the pedestrian packed boardwalk. It makes numerous stops to pick up as many passengers as possible. At times the wait to board new passengers is lengthy while fees are paid and drivers scour the... More

I'm hoping it was just the time we tried the tram but it was useless for us. We stopped every 100ft, for an average of 2-3 minutes each time. The last time it stopped with us on it, we had waited 10 minutes. We finally got off and walked. Its supposed to require exact change so I don't know how... More
