Ben and Mrs Too have determined to pursue a regimen of one stage show a month for the foreseeable future. We have both been impressed by the professionalism and artistic acuity available in the community, even at the “black box” theaters. This month we caught...More

Went to several plays although for the life of me I can't remember the names of them, LOL! The seats are comfortable and you can see the players/actors easily and hear them too.

Very good production of In The Heights by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Set design was intimate and the actors really played to the parts. My first "rap" style musical. The voices were crisp and clear.

Olnet always puts on quality performances and the new space is very good. One problem is the lack of a ramp for those who have trouble with stairs.

Had tickets to see the excellent Thurgood play. Little bit of a drive for us from Northern Virginia but well worth it on a Sunday afternoon. We were in the smaller venue which does not have assigned seating so we got there early. It did...More

Fabulous voices! Outstanding staging! Marvelous choreography! Terrific acting!! Need I say more? Sadly, it may have closed (after an extended run) by the time you read this. BUT! With a little bit of luck...You can still get tickets. What are you waiting for? GO!

This was only my second visit to the Olney Theatre even though I've lived in the area since 1975. What was I thinking?! I'll tell you what I was thinking: that it was just a suburban dinner theater place. WRONG: in partnership with Roundhouse they're...More

Once again we were blown away by the totality of the productions at the Olney Theatre. Even though we have lived in Montgomery County, MD for over 50 years, we had never been to the theater. We've made up for that in the past two...More

This small venue really showcases some local talent and makes you feel like you are an integral part of the production. Really fun!

Don't know that I've sat in the front row there. The main stage has handicapped seats reached without going down any steps. They are on a level just about even with the stage. The seats are separate chairs. I like to sit... More

Thank you for your question. Both Orchestra and Mezzanine seats in the Mainstage theatre give you a great view of the stage (the last row of the Mezzanine is only 50 feet from the stage). For your question about first row... More
