The Mainstay is a storefront nonprofit performing arts center on Rock Hall's down home Main Street. We are dedicated to presenting local, regional, national and international talent, at a reasonable price, in an almost perfect acoustic setting. Our intimate listening room seats 120. We do 50 to 60 shows a year. Performances are listed on our website and you can subscribe to our email list there.

Amazing jazz

What a fun local spot with gifted musical artists- and they even serve wine! Love the cozy venue. A gem right in the center of Rock Hall.

Absolutely amazing talent at this storefront-type cabaret. Reasonably priced - has a liquor license - and they usually have home-made cookies.

We dropped into the Mainstay during Rock Hall's Fall Fest. The place was extremely popular! Despite being a small intimate venue, they seemed to bring in top talent. We wandered in and out a few times during the day, listening to different acts. There was no bad seat in the house. Each time we came in, we felt like part... More

Weekly shows in a small, intimate atmosphere. Judging by the wide variety of talent this place books, it is an attraction worth going out of your way. Performers often come from long distances Limited seating at about 120 and up close to performance stage. Very friendly staff and good but tiny bar to order drinks and take to your comfortable... This is a small, really small town music hall. But don't let the size nor the outside fool you. Some of the best music in the region is performed here on a regular basis. We know because we have lived in the County of Kent for 16 years. Yesterday's performance of Red Devil Moon was a free dress rehearsal for... More

My wife is a professional musician so we couldn't help but stop in for "Monday at the Mainstay" while staying at a nearby B&B (Inn at Haven Harbor, also excellent). Mainstay's music was exquisite, the price was right, and the locals friendly. GO!

We visit Rock Hall by boat or car every year or so and are never disappointed in the offerings and energy this small town offers its guests. The Mainstay is one of those special spots that only exists when a local group of dedicated, music-loving folks decides that they and Rock Hall visitors deserve a funky, inexpensive venue offering genuine... My husband and I went to see a show (Toby Walker- who was brilliant and so talented) and loved this venue. It is small with seating for 120 people. There are mismatched chairs and church pews to sit and it is such an intimate place to see a show. They have a decent sound system and didn't play the music... More

Just a little small town venue that some how finds a way to bring in some great talent. (Anthony John Clarke) Very homey and interactive, had a great evening of entertainment for $15 bucks. We will go back again.
