I have lived here my entire life and I still enjoy going to our local zoo... The zoo has grown in so many ways... New animal exhibits are constantly being added and Bens Red Swings is such a nice area to let your children play after walking through the zoo... The one thing I wish for the zoo would be... More

We were staying in MD in Ocean City. Took a day trip West to the zoo. Only about an hour away. Not crowded. Kids love the animals. The zoo is free, they do have a donation box but nobody was begging you to donate. Also a small play ground outside. Free parking. Kids were beat after running around all day.... More

Great place to take the little ones. It isn't a huge zoo, so you don't feel like you can't see everything in one day, or spend more time watching your favorites.

We love visiting this zoo, mostly because its FREE!! This is virtually unheard of. It's a great size especially for young children to be able to see everything in one trip. Very stroller friendly as well and the staff are very nice.

I live in Florida and every time I come home, to Salisbury, the very first thing I do is visit. It is a free zoo that is attached to the park, which is a great place to walk around. They have an herb garden that has bricks around it that you are able to purchase for a loved one or... More

For a free zoo this one isn't bad. We walked the whole thing within an hour. If you live in the area it's a cute little place to take the kids. They don't have a ton of animals but it was free. Our favorites were the otters and the wolf as they were the most active.

Who doesn't love a zoo that not only has a variety of nice birds and animals but is FREE? This zoo never disappoints and is a must-see for both adults and kids alike. They now have a young ocelot that they've acquired and I can't wait to see it!
